About

We are the officially recognized alumni association of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Omega at McDaniel College, extending leadership, friendship, and service beyond graduation.

Our members came to McDaniel from different backgrounds and have since left for their own adventures, but we all hold APO near and dear.

The mission of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Alumni Association is to create opportunities for alumni; to foster a strong connection with the active chapter, to (re)connect with other alumni, and to serve in a manner that respects the time of the alumni.

MISSION STATEMENT

We gather in Leadership, Friendship, and Service just like we did as undergraduate members. We promote one another, the Cardinal Principles, and the active chapter, through collective and individual action. We network and connect students and alumni with one another.

Membership is open to all alumni, advisory, and honorary members of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda chapter. Active seniors may join during their final semester as students. We offer monthly and yearly dues, but are open to conversations about financially prohibitive circumstances.

Events

Meetings
Association meetings are held once per month and are open to dues-paying members, active chapter representatives, and other invited guests. Other individuals interested in attending a meeting should contact us.

Service
Our group holds at least one virtual, accessible service event per month, open to all members, alumni, and friends, as well as active chapter members. We also host one in-person service event per academic semester.

Fellowship
We gather as often as possible, but always pair service events with a social component.
